About Us

The Mount Vernon Amateur Radio Club (MVARC) is comprised of about 150 hams from the Northern Virginia/Washington DC/metro Maryland area. We are dedicated to serving the community through ARES and public service support (Repeater:  K4US/R 146.055MHz Input/146.655MHz Output--Use PL tone 141.3 Hz), amateur radio licensing classes, and VEC Amateur Radio License Testing.  Testing Site:  The First Christian Church, 2723 King Street, Alexandria, VA

MVARC Meeting Site:  INOVA Mt. Vernon Hospital 2501 Parkers Lane Alexandria, VA 22306 (Check board for meeting room)
